And the 46-year-old English actress’ latest one does not disappoint. She just posted a video of herself casually hanging from a punching bag while doing upside down sit-ups.
“There’s one corner of @gunnarfitness gym that is,forever, England. This is not it,” she captioned her post.
Kate’s trainer, Brad Siskind of Gunnar Peterson’s gym, previously told Women’s Health that The Only Living Boy in New York actress gets right down to business when they’ve got a sweat sesh scheduled. “The whole hour is work,” he said.
And Kate also divulged the exact details of how she gets her body in such amazing shape. At the gym, she starts with a full-body workout composed of eight compound exercises that each work two muscle groups simultaneously: a biceps curl as she squats, or sit-ups with combination punches.
After the set, she’ll do 90 to 120 seconds of a cardio interval, like rowing or the VersaClimber, then do the eight exercises again—this time with heavier weights, added bands, or faster reps. After the 45 minutes it takes to complete both circuits, she’ll finish with a cardio interval using a rubber Inertia Wave, or one-leg pushes on a curved SkillMill treadmill. Finally, she ends with a Siskind stretch.
